Whether it's a boardroom meeting or you're on board the boat, you'll be looking sharp wearing the Apex day-date chronograph. The cobalt blue dial with the subdials ringed in silver tone is what first catches the eye. The all stainless steel case is 41.75 mm (1.65 inches) wide and has a stainless steel screw down case back. For enhanced water resistance, the crown and the chronograph pushers also screw down. At the heart of the watch is the ISA 8172/220 gilded, 3 jewel chronograph movement with split time function. To preserve the life of the battery, the movement features an automatic chronograph shut off and reset after 2 hours of running. You shouldn't get caught with a watch battery that has gone dead again. The movement also has a battery end of life feature that indicates when the battery is approaching the end of its useful life. Finishing the look is the 21 mm wide solid stainless steel bracelet with brushed outer links and mirror polished inner links. The bracelet closes with a push button folding buckle with a safety clasp and will accommodate wrists up to 8.5 inches. The beautiful wood presentation box within a gift box makes for a wonderful gift or a fine addition to any desk or dresser.
